IT STILL WORKS!! :)

This post is dedicated to Felicia because she was on the phone with me when it happened and was the one who encouraged me to blog about it. So Felicia, here's to you. Haha.
Once upon a time in a land not so far away, lived a girl named Cherry. One fateful day Cherry received a phone call from a friend named Laquisha. Before she received her phone call she had been listening to some music and when the phone rang all she was thinking about was answering the phone- not where to place her earphones. About half way through the conversation Cherry noticed that one of her earphones had landed in her glass of milk, and I don't mean just any milk-Cherry's sacred rice milk. She took the earphone out of the milk and started to dry it off with the pink toilet paper that was sitting on her desk. Cherry was unsure whether she should tell Laquisha or not, but she was figured it was too amusing to not tell. So Laquisha laughed along with Cherry, and advised her to blog about it. This tale may have started out grim, but I assure you it has a happy ending. When Cherry finally got the milk-drenched earphone all dried off, she tested it out, and to her and Laquisha's surprise IT STILL WORKED! Ahh folks, all is well that ends well. The end.
But I still don't understand how these things happen to me! First the toothbrush in the toilet, now the earphone in the milk! WHY? Haha.

"That DID NOT just happen!"

Oh my word. So quite a few embarrassing things happen to me on a regular basis, so I decided to start making them new blog posts. I like to call this one I Lost My Lovely Toothbrush. Last night while I was brushing my teeth (I was getting pretty into to it, as I always do) I suddenly lost grip of my toothbrush and accidentally launched my toothbrush through the air. I tried to catch it, but I was too late! I looked down, and there it was...in the toilet! LIKE HOW DOES THAT EVEN HAPPEN!? Haha. I kid you not, the toothbrush was airborne. I was actually really upset! Even though I was laughing quite a bit. The best part is that I had to stick my hand in the toilet to get it out! AGH. Lol. And now the toothbrush is laid to rest in my washroom garbage. Wow. My life is kind of amusing. Haha.

She really does love robes.

Since Rebekah and Sabrina are the only people who really read this blog I thought I would dedicate a post to you. Hi Sabrina, Hi Rebekah. When we were kids dress up was all about putting on the craziest outfits. Now a days when we talk about dressing up we mean dressing fancy, having the perfect hair, shoes, makeup, and accessories. But I say, what the hey! There is absolutely nothing wrong with still playing crazy dress up with the people you can be yourself 100% around! I don't think you can ever grow out of it fully! We all do it anyway.... Haha. Enjoy:)

"What do you want to be when you grow up?"

For all of you out there who know exactly what you want to do with your life- this post does not apply to you, congratulations. For those of you who are in the same boat as I am and have no idea where you are going to end up, keep reading. As long as I can remember people would always ask me what I wanted to be when I grow up. When I was a kid I was able to get away with naming off the most bizarre career choices- a Princess, an elephant trainer, the President, a monkey.
As you age all of a sudden you are supposed to know exactly what you want to be and how to achieve that, and no, a monkey is no longer an option. All throughout High School, while being "prepared" for University, we were to determine the future career we would like to pursue. This was a very important factor in my 10th grade Careers class, after all you had to decide whether or not you should be taking "University" or "College" path courses- what is with that anyway? There are so many options though! Lawyer, doctor, teacher, marry rich! I personally am still pursuing the latter of that list. I kid, I kid.
Ah. And here I find myself in my second year of University and still as clueless as I was in High School. I mean, now I know what I like and what I don't. I am taking International Relations within Political Science. Where I am going to end up once I graduate is still a mystery- but I enjoy politics and the world, so it seemed fitting, right? Ideally I would just like to fix the world. You know? Solve all of the major global problems and such. I know I will be okay though! God says he has a great plan for my life, so I guess I just have to trust that I will be let in on that secret soon enough.

Welcome to my little blog. Moments of Mary. I'm Mary.

Well! I decided I was going to start a blog because there are so many things I would like to write about. This is going to be a personal blog with additional posts that could be quite comical. I am not sure who is actually going to read this, but it will definitely be fun for me! Me blogging, Ha, who knew?
